Marilyn McKee, 90, of Punxsutawney (Troutville area) died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at home with her loving husband, Jaye.

She was born March 5, 1925, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Harvey and Clara (Stiver) Ray.

On Sept. 27, 1947, she married Jaye McKee. He survives her.

She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Troutville since 1950.

Marilyn was a good housekeeper. She enjoyed everything, crocheting, cooking, word search and traveling.

In addition to her husband Jaye, she is survived by one daughter, Helen Louise Cowie and husband Bradley of Punxsutawney; and two grandchildren, Robert and Charles Styers.

Preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Barbara Ann Styers; one sister, Beatrice McFarland; and four brothers: James Ray, Charles Ray, Raymond Ray and Emerson Ray.

Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at the Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Audra Krise. Interment will be at Troutville United Church of Christ Cemetery, Troutville, Pa.
