Mario Corradi, age 86, of Glasshurst Road, Brockport, Pa., died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at his residence.
Born on Jan. 14, 1930, in Larido, Italy, he was the son of the late Lino and Josephine Baroni Corradi. On July 11, 1959 he was married to Yolanda Gusmerotti. She survives.
Mario had been employed at Brockway Glass working in the ware shed, the hot end and finally after 42 years, retiring from the mould shop.
He was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway where he served as an usher for many, many years.
He enjoyed tinkering around his house; working was never a chore but something to be enjoyed, and Mario always enjoyed having company.
In addition to his wife he is also survived by a daughter, Tina (Richard) Iddings of Brockway; a son, Michael (Candace) Corradi of Corry, Pa.; four grandchildren: Kelly Corradi, Joshua Chewning, Samantha Chewning and Dominique Corradi.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three sisters, Silvia, Santina and Flora; and four brothers: Ralph, Lino, Angelo and Burtolo. Mario is also preceded in death by a grandson, Nathanael Chewning.
There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice.
