Mark A. Ferko Jr., 27, Falls Creek, died Saturday night in Reynoldsville.
Born July 2, 1986, in DuBois, he was a son of Mark A. Ferko of Sykesville and Kathy Y. Fincham of Youngstown, Ohio. They survive.
He attended DuBois Area High School and graduated from Triangle Tech in Falls Creek with an associate degree in welding. He was a welder for Staar Distributing LLC of DuBois.
He was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, gardening, fishing and doing yardwork with his grandfather.
Survivors include his step-mother, Tabatha; step-brother, Tristan; step-sister, Tia; a half-brother Michael Fincham of New Bern, N.C.; a half-sister, Jennifer Houston of Youngstown, Ohio; two nephews, Kyle and Connor Houston; paternal grandparents, Michael and Louise Ferko of Falls Creek; special friend and children, Danielle Ritchie, Lola and Kern of Reynoldsville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
Private family services were held at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville with the Rev. Fr. Edward Walk officiating.
