Mark L. Noble Sr., 79, Chestnut Avenue, DuBois, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born Oct. 8, 1935, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Charles and Agnes Solkolwski Noble. On Feb. 9, 1963, he married Shirley L. Lyons Noble. She survives.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He worked as a driller for the Minns Coal Co. and previous to that, worked for Forsyth Drilling Co.
He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Mark is survived by two daughters, Brenda L. Pyne and her husband, James, of Kersey, and Debra L. Wilkerson of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Mark L. Noble Jr.; a daughter, Cheryl Eifort; a sister, Kathleen McGranor; and a grandson, Christian J. Wilkerson.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 27, 2015) at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Bockus officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
