Mark Robert Lilja, age 55, of Williams Road, (Brandy Camp) Ridgway, Pa., died on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at his residence.
Born in Ridgway on Jan. 23, 1961, he is the son of Robert and Kathryn Lowe Lilja. They survive and live in Dagus Mines, Pa.
He was married to Cheri Fields on Oct. 2, 2015. She survives.
Mark was employed as a laborer at Metaldyne in St. Marys.
He was a member at the Maria Lutheran Church.
Mark enjoyed decorating for the holidays, landscaping, Nascar racing and playing cards as well as throwing horse shoes.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Brittany L. Lilja of Kersey; two brothers, John (Ruth) Lilja of Dagus Mines and James (Carol) Lilja, also of Kersey; two stepdaughters, Lorrie (Kevin) Papa of Brandy Camp and Heather Delp of Brockway; one stepson, Stacey (Tara) Bennett of Rockton, Pa. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifton and Doretha Lilja; his maternal grandmother, Ethel Lowe; and an aunt, Lydia Lowe.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Maria Lutheran Church in Dagus Mines with the Rev. Eric Hart officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center or the Maria Lutheran Church.
The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc., Brockway, is handling the arrangements.
