Mary M. Wildauer, 101, a lifelong resident of Reynoldsville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Christ The King Manor, DuBois.
Born March 13, 1913, in Reynoldsville, she was a daughter of the late John Nicholas Rech and Mary Elizabeth Kauzor Rech. On Sept. 12, 1938, she married Mark S. Wildauer. He preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1993.
She was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Reynoldsville, the Rosary-Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters of America, Reynoldsville Homemakers and the Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, baking, decorating for the holidays and refurbishing household items.
She is survived by her children: Susanne Baker, wife of James M., DuBois; Eleanor Leiberton, wife of William, Dover; Joan Lake, Greensburg; and Jean Wildauer, wife of Christopher Minch, Lebanon; her grandchildren: Beth Reeder, Ann Etchberger, Mark Lake, Lynn Ryan, Trisha Nikonow, Thomas Baker and Jason Baker; and her great-grandchildren: John A. Ryan, Christian and Ava Lake, Caitlin Reeder and Alan "AJ" and Alivia Nikonow.
She was also preceded in death by brothers: Joseph F. Rech MD, and John E. Rech; sisters: Anne Miller, Agnes Rech and Elizabeth Rech.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville. The rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Friday (March 6) at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Christ The King Manor chapel. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
