Norma M. Rokosky, age 84, of 429 Ash St., Ridgway, died Thursday morning at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
She was born July 25, 1932, in Sykesville, Pa., daughter of the late Frank and Eliza Reekie Salinski. She married Stanley P. Rokosky on June 18, 1955; he preceded her in death on June 16, 2009.
She resided in Ridgway since 1955 and was Catholic by faith. She loved her grandchildren and great-granddaughter dearly. They were the joy of her life.
She was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She was a 1950 graduate of the Sykesville High School.
She had been employed by Alltel for 35 years.
She is survived by two sons, Randy S. (Gretchen) Rokosky of Ridgway and Christopher P. (Tish) Rokosky of Erie; four grandchildren: Arielle, Trevor, Lauren and Nolan; one great-granddaughter, Aris; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral and committal Services for Norma M. Rokosky will be private. Officiating will be Rev. Donald Hunter, pastor of the Awakening Alliance Church. Burial will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville. There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
