Patti J. Martz, 83, Ellwood City, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Golden Hill Nursing Center in New Castle.
Born Dec. 11, 1931, in Reynoldsville, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Ruth Kane Milliren.
She was married to Thomas L. Martz on Oct. 3, 1953. The couple were married for 61 years.
Patti graduated from Reynoldsville High School in 1949.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ellwood City, the Ellwood City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and she volunteered with the local Meals on Wheels Program.
In addition to her husband, Tom, survivors include a son, Frank (Dana) Martz; daughter, Terri (Rick) Weingartner, both of Ellwood City; sister, Alice Kuhns of Buffalo, N.Y.; brother, Jack (Shirley) Milliren of New Bethlehem; grandson, Thomas D. (Jessica) Martz of Winston Salem, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Dickey and Ann Engle; and one brother, James Milliren.
Visiting hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William King of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery in Reynoldsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
