Pearl E. Springborn, age 82, of Main Street, Brockway, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 2, 1931, in Marquette, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Francis and Pearl Huelett Smith.
She worked for White Haines in Columbus, Ohio, for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pearl is survived by her children: Chris Springborn and his wife, Kahne, of Loveland, Ohio, Sally Crooks and her husband, Donald, of Chillcothe, Ohio, Debra Kohlhepp and her husband, Benjamin, of Falls Creek, and Tammy Jewell and her husband, Donald, of DuBois; a brother, Francis Smith of Neogia, Ill.; eight grandchildren: Daniel Kohlhepp, Julia Gallegos, John Kohlhepp, Tyler Amos, Ashley Higgins, Trevor Amos, Cas Springborn and Clayton Jewell, and four great-grandchildren: Mateo and Chavez Gallegos, Parker Higgins and Truitt Kohlhepp.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lon Springborn; a grandson, Christopher Jewell; and two brothers, Arthur Smith and John Huelett.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service for friends and family of Pearl E. Springborn will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from the chapel at Morningside Cemetery with Pastor Donald Crooks officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
