Pete Winkelman, age 74, of Raybuck Road, Reynoldsville, Pa. (Allens Mills), died on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born on June 10, 1942, in Hazen, Pa., he was the son of the late Edward E. and Ollie Delp Winkelman.
Pete was married to Mary Ann Benton for over 20 years and she survives.
Retired, he had been employed at Brockway Glass as a Hot End foreman. He was a member of the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, cutting firewood and messing around on his property with his machinery.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann, he is also survived by three sons: Steve Winkelman of Brookville, Pa.; Greg (Diane) Winkelman of Washington, Pa., and Rodney Winkelman of Richmond, Va. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Winkelman.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway and from 10 a.m. till service time on Wednesday at the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Bob Trask officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
