Richard A. "Dick" Reasinger Sr., age 82, Kiwanis Trail, DuBois, Pa., died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on Aug. 24, 1935, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late William Reasinger Sr. and Etha (Guiher) Reasinger.
On June 21, 1958, he married Barbara A. (Glatt) Reasinger. She preceded him in death on Aug. 15, 2015.
He was a member of the United States Army Reserves.
Dick retired from Triangle Auto Springs after over 20 years of service. Previous to that, he, along with his brothers owned and operated Modern Cleaners.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Middle Ridge Sportsman Club.
Dick is survived by his sons, Richard A. Reasinger Jr. of Rockton, Pa., Jerry A. Reasinger of DuBois, Pa., and Mark A. Reasinger of Colorado Springs, Colo. He is also survived by four sisters: Marilyn Ross and her husband Michael of Brockport, Pa., Karen Shobert and her husband David of DuBois, Pa., Marlene Fletcher of DuBois, Pa., and Diane Dandoy & her husband Larry of Kersey, Pa.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Duane and William Reasinger Jr.; a sister, Linda Shaffer; and an infant sister, Cheryl Reasinger.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., DuBois.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at 10 am. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
