Richard Eugene Takach, 77, of South Park, formerly of DuBois, passed away surrounded by his loving family Jan. 2, 2016.
He was born in Brookville, Pa., on April 14, 1938, to Joseph and Blanche Takach.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of many happy years, Margaret (Holt) Takach. He is survived by his two sons, Richard E (Kari) Takach Jr., Bradley J (Susan) Takach; daughter, Debra T (John) Stiles; as well as eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, landscaping, spending time with his family and being a member of his church, Library Baptist Church.
Family and friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Monday, at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Ken Barner at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
