Russell L. "Bunny" Pivirotto, 82, of Caine Road, Caledonia, Pa., died at home, Monday, March 28, 2016.
Born Sept. 7, 1933, in Wilkinburg, Pa., he was a son of the late Angelo and Katherine (Hale) Pivirotto.
Born and raised in Wilkinsburg, he lived most of his life in Plum Borough and the past 25 years in Bennett's Valley.
He is survived by two children, Robin Lynn (Steve) Porter of Vandergrift, Pa. and Brian (Jill) Pivirotto of Plum Borough, Pa.; three grandchildren, Shawn Porter, Kaylee Pivirotto and Gina Pivirotto; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Porter; and one sister, Connie Niggle of Upper St. Clair, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings Audrey Werner, Stan Pivirotto and Dorothy Horrell.
He was a veteran of the Army, having served during the Korean Conflict from 1953-55.
He was a Teamster Iron Worker for many years and worked with Plum Borough for 25 years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield, Pa. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Don Smith officiating.
