Ruth A. Dennison, 89, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, Pa..

Born Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1928, in Clymer, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward R. Egan and the late Martha M. (Turpane) Egan. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Dennison.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Eastern Star and loved to go shopping. She retired from Brockway Glass after 33 years.
She is survived by her son, David L. Dennison (Tina) of Houston, Texas; daughters, Nancy L. Barenchik (Rodger) of Rincon, Ga., April A. Young of Reynoldsville, Pa., and Susan M. Dennison of Reynoldsville, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Christy Harrold (Dane) of Altoona, Pa., Dayna Sones (Dustin) of Canden, N.C., R.C. Barenchik (Katie) of Savannah, Ga., Makael Pritchard (Elliott) of Kyle, Texas, Madeline Dennison of Houston, Texas, Erica Arnold (Rich) of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Lindsey Hiles (Josh) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; seven great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, Garrett, Gavin, Tripp, Kira and London.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by brothers, Edward Egan and Harry Egan; and sisters, Shirley Wolfe and Hazel Cramer.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., located at 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, with the Rev. Steven J. Hendrickson officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, Pa.
