Sally Joanne Bonavida, 73, Brockway, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at her residence after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Dagus Mines, Pa., daughter of the late Mary Edinger Mancini.
Sally was a homemaker who attended PA Academy of Cosmetology School in DuBois, She enjoyed spending time with her grand-children, putting puzzles together and crocheting.
Sally is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Yeaney, DuBois, Sally Jo Shick, Brookville; three sons: Rodney Brosky, Brandy Camp, Richard Brosky, Brockway and Frank Brosky, Brockway; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Armstrong, both of Kersey; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Sally is predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert P. Brosky; and son, Robert A. Brosky.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 6 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
