Steven L. Steinbeiser, 63, Falls Creek, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born June 30, 1953, in Altoona, he was the son of the late Robert and Thelma (McGinnis) Steinbeiser.
On June 29, 1985, he married Mona L. Smith in Troutville. She survives.
Steven was a home remodeler for over 30 years. He was a member of Sandy Hose Club #1, the Falls Creek Eagles #965, and the Reynoldsville American Legion #392. He was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking.
Steven served in the Air Force as a military policeman during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Chrissy Steinbeiser of Florida and Kim (Wayne) Valentine of Falls Creek; two grandchildren, Josh and Melinda Petrini; and a great-grandson, Owen Petrini.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Steinbeiser.
There will be no public visitation. A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc.
