Susanne Denise Wilson Robinson died Nov. 2, 2016, at the Sherman Home, a hospice facility on the Mayo Hospital Campus, Phoenix, Ariz.
Susanne was born June 21, 1940, to the late William Irvin and Frances (Oven) Wilson.
After graduating in 1958 from Sandy High School, DuBois, Pa., she graduated from the former Gale Airline Institute in Minnesota. In 1968, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where she earned an Associate Degree from Phoenix College and a B.S. Degree from Arizona State University, Tempe. She also graduated from the American Express Travel School, Phoenix.
Susanne was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; brothers, Francis and Robert James Wilson; and a sister, Kaye Frick.
She is survived by sisters, Jean Wyse and Bobbie Klingensmith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beginning in 2009 Susanne and her late husband Kenneth spent the summers in DuBois and enjoyed the winters in Phoenix.
Susanne enjoyed reading, music, the arts, travel, sports and adventure.
She was affiliated with the ASU Alumni Assn., American Society of Interior Designers and International Furnishings Design Assn.; was a member of, and master docent at the Phoenix Art Museum, and a member of, and fund raiser for, the Phoenix Symphony and the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Her career path was mainly in interior design.
Susanne attended the Paradise Valley Adventists' Church in Phoenix and Treasure Lake Church in DuBois.
Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery, Falls Creek, Pa.
