Thomas P. Farrell Sr., 68, 458 Parrish Road, DuBois, died Saturday evening, Oct. 31, 2015, at his home.
Born Sept. 2, 1947, in Spangler, Pa., he was a son of the late Herbert and June Limrick Farrell.
Thomas was a 1965 graduate of Reynoldsville-Sykesville High School, Reynoldsville. He was a retired employee of DuCom of DuBois.
He was a veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.
He was Protestant by faith.
Thomas was a member of the F.O. Eagles 965, Falls Creek, VFW Post 813, American Legion Post 17 and the Sandy Club, all of DuBois.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas J. (Amy) Farrell Jr. of DuBois and Shane P. (Lisa) Farrell of DuBois; seven grandchildren: Mason, Cameron and Zachary Farrell and Nicholas, Nathan, Noah and Tyler Farrell; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Zaydan Farrell; one brother, Peter Farrell of Zanesville, Ohio; five sisters: Carol Long of Curwensville, Jane (William) Huntington of Big Run, Donna (Thomas) Richards of Brookville, Norma Jean (Dale) Yingling of Clarington and Rose (Robert) Tinder of Big Run.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lynn Farrell.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
