Thomas R. Baka, 44, James St., Brockway, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at UPMC Altoona.
Born Oct. 8, 1970, in Erie, he was the son of Thomas E. and Irma (Wagenknecht) Baka. His parents survive and live in Brockway.
On June 9, 1994, he married Janet (LaBorde) Baka. She survives.
He was a self-employed machinist and tool maker.
He loved fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He also loved to work on computers.
He graduated from Penn State College of Technology in Williamsport.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Stephanie R. Baka of DuBois.
There will be no public visitation. Private family services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society, 1211 Airport Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
