Tyler Ray Thompson, 25, Petrolia, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born March 8, 1990, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of Scott K. Thompson and Bobbi Jo Richards.
Tyler was employed by Iron Mountain in the maintenance department.
Tyler is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn Rae Thompson of Petrolia; his mother, Bobbi Jo (Dan) Richards of DuBois; his father, Scott (Patty) Thompson of Petrolia; and his sister, Samantha (Chris) Betta of Greensburg.
Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Robert and Edna Meals of Grove City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Butler, 221 New Castle St., Butler, PA 16001, with the Rev. Dave Maitland officiating.
