Vivian J. Burley, age 84, of Smithtown Road, Falls Creek, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, in DuBois.
Born Dec. 4, 1932, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Viola (Fye) Clouser. She was married to Floyd C. Burley Jr.; he survives.
Vivian was a homemaker. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and reading. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family by cooking big Sunday dinners.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kenneth Burley of Falls Creek, William Burley of DuBois and David (Michele) Burley of Falls Creek; a brother, Charles (Mary) Clouser of DuBois; and three grandchildren, Renee (Michael) Gressler of DuBois, Megan (Jordan) Hoover of DuBois and Zachary Burley of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Burley, and two brothers, Norman Clouser and Homer Clouser.
There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at St. Bernard's Church in Falls Creek. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
