Wade N. Coder Sr., 86, Brockport, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at his residence.
Born March 30, 1929, in Brockport, he was the son of Clyde J. and Belle Duttry Coder. He was married to Joan Kline. She survives.
He was a member of the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church and Parson-Marnatti Post 95 American Legion.
He was an avid hunter and a devoted Yankee and Steeler fan.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also spent much time at his camp.
Wade was a retired pattern moldmaker at Brockway Glass and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.
He is also survived by two sons, Wade N. Jr. (Aimee) of Ridgway and Roger D. (Tina) of Turtle Point; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Raymond, Bernard and Wayne; and one sister, Daffney.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Brockway. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Trask and Dr. Clair Lundberg officiating. Burial will be in Brockport Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded by Parson-Marnatti Post 95.
