Wayne L. Ellenberger, age 70, formerly of Luthersburg, Pa., died on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital in Sewickley, Pa.
Born on March 5, 1947 in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late Clem and Hope (Seyler) Ellenberger.
Wayne was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on the USS O'Hara during the Vietnam War.
He was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and retired as a truck driver.
He was a member of the America Legion, The Forest Grove Sportsman Association, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a musician in the Ellenberger Family Band for over 15 years.
He is survived by a brother, James L. Ellenberger and his wife, Carol, of Coraopolis, Pa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Budd Ellenberger.
Private funeral services were held on Thursday, February 1, 2018. with Pastor Rick Howe officiating.
Burial was in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
