William B. "Bink" Horner Jr., 62, 218 Hill St., Reynoldsville, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2015, at his home.
Born Dec. 11, 1952, in DuBois, he was a son of the late William B. Horner Sr. and Murial Snyder Horner, who survives and lives in Reynoldsville. On Aug. 13, 1977, he married Karen A. Beck Horner. She survives in Reynoldsville.
William was a 1970 graduate of DuBois Area High School and a graduate of Toledo Meat Cutting School. He retired as a meat cutter for Goodman's Foodliner, Curwensville.
He was a member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church, F.O.Eagles 540, Reynoldsville, was a Cub Scout Leader and was a former mayor of Reynoldsville.
William also enjoyed camping, cooking and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Michele L. (Alex) Vasquez of Butler and Krista M. Collins of Reynoldsville; three grandchildren: Houston Vasquez, Kobi and Mia Collins; two brothers, Gary L. (Deb) Horner of Youngwood, Pa. and James R. (Barbara) Horner of Reynoldsville.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas M. Horner.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery, Falls Creek.
