Yvonne A. Fye, 79, 7948 Big Run-Prescottville Road, Reynoldsville, died Thursday morning, April 30, 2015, at her home.
Born Nov. 11, 1935, in Henderson Township, she was a daughter of the late Morris L. and Eula Zufall Cramer. On Feb. 27, 1954, she married John Fye. He preceded her in death Oct. 8, 2013.
Yvonne was a 1953 graduate of Sykesville High School. She retired as an inspector for Owens Brockway Glass after 33 years of service.
She was a member of the Grace Community Church in DuBois.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and church family. Yvonne was an avid attendant of her family reunions. An avid bowler, she enjoyed playing computer games and loved "rehoming" wildflowers.
She is survived by one son, Amos L. (Winsome) Fye of Laurel, Md.; daughter, Roni (James Jr.) Bush-Smith of Treasure Lake; grandson, Corey Bush; granddaughter, Dani Bush; two brothers, Dalvin (Patricia) Cramer of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and Ronald (Patricia) Cramer of Jefferson, Ohio; two sisters, Lana (Edwin) London of Reynoldsville and Rita (Mark) McCarthy of North Tonawanda, N.Y.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Stephen J. Fye; brother, Leland M. Cramer; and sister, Geraldine Smith.
There will be no public viewing. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville with Pastor Ronald Burkett officiating. Burial will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville. After a short service at the cemetery, everyone is welcome to join the family for a time of fellowship and a luncheon at Grace Community Church in DuBois.
