Dominga Kania, 78, of Vineland passed away on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at the South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center.
Dominga was born in Coamo, P.R., and was a resident of Vineland for more than 40 years. She was best known as Winnie by her many friends in this area. She was previously employed as a U.S.F.F.I and has been a cashier at the Goodwill in Millville for the past 25 years.
Dominga was predeceased by her ex-husband, Phillip Vazquez, and became a widow of Joseph J. Kania in 1987; and she also was predeceased by a sister, Luz Guzman. She is survived by a daughter, Ev Castro; a son, Luis Vasquez; grandsons, Adrian L. Castro, Jay Vasquez and Nicholas Vasquez; granddaughters, Martina L. Vazquez and Hope Vasquez; brothers, Ray Ortiz and John Ortiz; and sisters, Jovita Kupioski and Margarita Nelson.
She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold/Englishtown Road, Freehold. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.

We are so sorry for your loss,and will always remember Winnie as she was such a great person her infectious smile and character, she was a real peoples person someone that you just enjoy knowing,she will really be missed.

I was a regular customer that Winnie waited on at the Goodwill store. I will always think of her calm, gentle manner and beautiful smile. I wish her family the comfort of angels at this time.
