Obituary Condolences

Jan Wawrzyniak, 67, of Vineland passed away at home on Saturday morning, June 30, 2012, where he had been under the care of family and hospice.

Mr. Wawrzyniak was born in Radowo, Poland, and was a longtime resident of Poland, prior to immigrating to the U.S. and settling in Vineland in 1994.

Before retiring last year, Jan was employed as a glass worker at Durand Glass Co., Millville. He enjoyed attending the monthly Catholic Mass spoken in Polish. Jan was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed tending to his garden. Most importantly, was the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Jadwiga; two sons, Jaroslaw and his wife Malgorzata Wawrzyniak, and Slawomir Wawrzyniak; two daughters, Aneta and her husband Roman Klepacki, and Marta Schmidt and her husband Robert; five grandchildren; and several siblings still residing in Poland.

Relatives and friends will be received this evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, with his funeral liturgy to be celebrated at 7:30. Burial will be on Tuesday in All Saints Cemetery, Newark, Del.
