"Art" as he was known to his family and play mates, leaves a fond memory, for me. He was so mature, for his age, and kept us under control. I lost contact with him and his family, over many years; but he will always remain as a fond memory. I was Dorothy's friend; but we usually did activities with her entire family.

I was so privileged to have ministered with you, Fr. Archer, at Notre Dame in Durham. You were a fine priest, dedicated and zealous in the work
of the Lord and His Church. You will be sorely missed!!

Matt, Claudia & family,
Al and I were saddened when we heard from Matt Saturday night letting us know that Fr. Archer had passed away. "Archie", as Al belovedly called him, was our neighbor in Mystic for over 15 years. Separated by only a small fence, we spent countless hours on our adjoining decks enjoying the ever changing views of the Mystic River, sunsets, gold finches and hummingbirds. We've missed Archie since he moved a few years ago but have lots of memories, stories and a gifted original oil painting from his collection to remain with us and keep us smiling. May he rest in peace.
