I love reading the stories about you. I wish I could have some of the years back that were missed but I am thankful for the time we did have in the end. I look forward to meeting family when I can finally come up there. Rest in peace.

I am so thankful to God for Bob coming into all our lives, and for his gentle spirit and HUMOR! Bob made us laugh often with his resilient and quick-witted jokes and brought our mom and us joy and levity - often when we least expected it and needed it most! ❤
Bob was a true helpmate to our mom and he was always happy to lend a hand to anyone in need. I hope you know, Bob, what a gem you are/were to all of us - with a heart of gold to boot!
We love you so much, and are grateful you had such great and heartfelt care by the wonderful caregivers at Orchard Grove - whom we also send love to at this time for taking such good care of our Step-Dad.
May the Lord keep you and hold you and mom in His Hands and in His perfect peace, now and forever! You are always in our hearts! ♥ ♥♥

Dear Bob,
For your steadfast and loving devotion to my mom, I am so grateful you can be with her now. You've both had sickness and now you have health and rest.
Thank you for being a part of our lives, especially through the years, as you and mom hosted and prepped for Thanksgiving and July 4th holiday family reunions. We children and cousins really really really miss that tradition!!
And for your home-bodied nature, which despite us wanting to get you out into places you could fellowship with others, brought a constancy and an always open haven for us to visit, whenever, ...even at BeeBee Dairy, your usual roost on Sunday mornings!!! Spontaneous and unannounced Sunday morning travels down there, for a birthday or just because, were easy to pull off, as I could bank on finding you and mom at your usual table eating your usual Sunday brunch
So very thankful for your caregivers at Orchard Grove. You could see how much they enjoyed your presence there. You have a great sense of humor, as well as a calm quiet way. The staff honored and integrated these aspects of your character in their interactions with you. Kathy in particular was able to coordinate outside visits during this last year. I loved seeing your determination to speak, and the spark in your eye during our conversation.
I am sure you, Debbie and I, and Charlene, will treasure those few moments forever! It has been an unexpected blessing to get to spend time with Charlene, a true advocate who faithfully provided updates to us as well as sharing more of your life with us!! Our discussions helped connect us better with you, soothing our hearts when we were less and less able to speak with you over the phone.
In thankfulness, honor, and love,
Dina
