Steve Anderson was my choir director when I was a boy in Tucson. I remember rehearsals at his house once a week, everyone eating spaghetti dinner beforehand family style. He helped shape my love of choral singing and of church music. Wonderful memories and what an incredible life lived.

My husband Sandy and I played a lot of mixed doubles with Steve and Patty. I was generally pretty fearless at the net but if Steve was the opponent he showed absolutely no mercy and was always hugely effective. We always enjoyed those games! I sang with him for many years when he was Music Director at Emmnanuel Church in Weston CT and his selections of music and standards of performance made each Sunday a special time.
