My deepest condolences to Betty and his family for your loss. I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I admired how committed Bob was to his family and he had a very positive attitude to life that made people want to be with him. I remember how happy he was when he visited our house on Hynes Ave. and showed my father his latest auto which had air conditioning. He had one of the first cars to have air conditioning. He was just so excited that he had to share this new wonder. And yes, there was a time when autos didn't have air conditioning. His positive attitude propelled him through life and he was always promoted in any job he held. God granted him many years to be with his family, but I'm certain his family, his friends and myself could only wish that God had granted him even more years. I'm certain that his memory will be an eternal blessing.
