My condolences to your family. I work at Boston University and had the great pleasure of visiting with Sam a number of times in CT. He was a jolly & lovely soul - once he offered my daughter and me a ride in his motor boat. We toured his beloved CT coastline.
I remember him fondly.

We will miss Sam and Carolyn very much. We were introduced to them when we first moved to Noank and Sam was helping organize the Beetlecat Association. We shared a journey together back in the '80's when our Pilgrim Airlines flight from LaGuardia got cancelled and we took a limo to New Haven where Carolyn met us a drove us home. Sam was a very bright, interesting man and the two of them were obviously a very loving couple. Ed Johnson, Noank
