I only met Betty when my Dad and I got a dog from her around (1971 or so). My Dad was Friend's with Betty at the Post Office and we took a Dog she could not keep (Snoopy, A long haired Collie/Shepard). My Dad always spoke highly of Betty and I remember her Great smile and how she was so happy for me and our new Dog.

Bettie, was grateful, loving toward anyone she came in contact with. She was a great dog lover, and if you let her keep your dog; she would treat them like hers. She was a fun lady, had a good eye of tricky. She will be missed. But GOD is the beginning and the end. Hold on this unchange hand
