Groton - Christopher Michael "Chris" Garney was born April 6, 1994, and died unexpectedly at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital Feb. 10, 2021. Chris left this earth too soon, but during his 26 years on earth, he touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving footprints on all of our hearts.

Chris was an amazing artist and loved to cook and play video games and hang with his friends; and loved his dog Layla.

Chris leaves behind his mother Tootsie; sister Jennifer; grandmother Liz; and aunt Maddy; several cousins; and all his friends. He was predeceased by his uncle Mike, whom he called "Dad;" and his uncles, Pete and Barry as well. Services are still to be determined at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
