Donna and family... My sincerest condolences in the loss of Ron. I first met him when I was a child. My grandfather and his father ,"Cotton" worked together for the City. We stopped by the house a few times on Saturday mornings when they had coffee. Ron and I reconnected many years later as adults at work. Ron had a large involvement in training me on a new computer program at work. We shared many stories of mutual memories of New London and Waterford. Ron also knew of my interest in fire history, and gave me a historical booklet from the WB Thomas Hose #3 of New London of which he had been a member. It remains as a treasure with me today. His gentle and friendly ways, and his beautiful smile will remain with me always. Peace and comfort to you all.
