New London - Waldren Phillips, 64, of New London passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born March 26, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of Alice Phillips.

Waldren worked as a judicial deputy marshal for 24 years before his retirement. Previously, he had worked at Electric Boat for 20 years.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street, New London. A Zoom service will be held at 4 p.m. via Zoom meeting ID: 879 1136 0288 password: Phillips. COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
