William Haynes Obituary
Bill was a friendly, gregarious man and lifelong resident of New London. He graduated from Chapman Tech and his first job was at Sheffield Pharmaceuticals. For many years Bill ran his own house-painting business. He was last employed by Dr. Bedrick where he provided office custodial services. Bill was an avid golfer throughout his adult years and maintained a consistent proficiency at the sport.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, the late Collette Ruddy Haynes; his father, the late Harry Haynes; and his sister, the late Muriel Haynes Reed. He leaves behind two nieces, Valerie Reed Palladino, Cocoa, Fla. and Marcy Reed Olander, Moyock, N.C.; and one great-niece, Heather Berggren of Virginia Beach, Va.
He will be interred at St. Mary's Cemetery in New London following a private graveside service.
