Paul R. "Cowboy" Sutton, age 76, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Paul was a graduate of Henderson County Hight School and was the first person to letter in all four sports. He was an inductee of the Henderson Sports Hall of Fame. He was a participant of the county high school football team that went on to be inducted. Paul attended David Lipscomb University on a basketball scholarship where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked with his brother at All-Type Hydraulic Pump Services. He dabbled in remodeling projects and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed grilling for his family and friends. Paul had a heart of gold and loved people, and everyone loved him.

In addition to his parents Elvis and Ella Sutton, Paul was preceded in death by his sister Becky Roark and his brothers: David and George Sutton.

Paul is survived by his daughter Ashely Lawing of Henderson, KY, 2 sons; Robbie Davis and his wife Melissa of Henderson, KY, Rob Ross and his wife Xiaoyu Cao of Ohio, 2 sisters; Etta Triplett of Georgia, Gloria Stanley of Henderson, KY, his twin brother Phillip Sutton and his wife Shirley of Henderson, KY, and 6 grandchildren: Alyjah Lawing, Isaiah Lawing, Levi (Casey) Davis, Laci Davis, Neo Ross, and Paxton Ross.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Life Celebration from 3:00 p.m. until the service time on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
