Alan Stanley Obituary
Sebree, Ky.
Alan O'neal Stanley, 62 of Sebree passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born March 30, 1954, to Charles Stanley and the late Betty Pendley Stanley.
Alan was a minister and a retired teacher of Hopkins County. He served in the Navy and was a Boy Scout Master for 15 years. Alan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson. He enjoyed reenacting the French Indian Era and learning to play the bagpipes.
Survived by his beloved wife, Ellen Stanley; daughter, Elissa (Terry, Jr.) McBride; son, Seth (Kim) Stanley; four grandchildren, Sarah and L.T. McBride, and Zeanna and Ronan Stanley; father, Charles Stanley; sister, Kaye Hunter; and brother, Steve Stanley.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Saturday at 11:00am with Bro. Todd Linn officiating. Burial will follow in Stanley Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5pm - 7pm and Saturday after 9am. Condolences to the family may be made at http://www.bandyfuneralhome.com./
