On Saturday, February 28, 1998, at North York, in her 68th year. Survived by her sister, Sheila Smith, of England, her nephew, Dickon Smith, and his wife, Paula Smith, of Colorado, her niece, Rosalie Coombs, and her husband Dennis Coombs, of Wilmslow, England, her very dear great-niece and great-nephew, Emma Smith and Adam Smith, and her many friends. She was a lover of opera, theatre and the arts, and greeted every adversity with determination and good cheer. A memorial service will be held at the TRULL FUNERAL HOME, "NORTH TORONTO CHAPEL", 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence), on Friday, March 6th, 1998 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.
