CICIRETTO, Angelo
Peacefully passed Wednesday at home with family by his side. Born in Monteleone di Puglia, Pr. di Foggia, Italy and immigrated to Canada in April 1964 with the desire of creating a better life for himself and his family. Loving and devoted husband of the late Anna Rosa. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Tony and Joanne, Pat and Jackie. He was the very proud Nonno of Cristian and Anna Lisa. Also survived by his three brothers and sisters-in-law Carmelo and Gina, Rocco amd Lina, Nick and Cristina and his many caring nephews and nieces. Angelo was a long standing member of the Markham Bocce Association where he developed many rich and lasting friendships while honing his skill and stoking his passion for the game of bocce. He was actively involved and participated in supporting the Association's s development and growth initiatives. Angelo courageously battled cancer while never losing his determination, enthusiasm for life and sense of humour and will be affectionately remembered for his impact on many people's lives for his caring, gentle nature and enduring sense of spirit.
Resting at the PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME 1939 Lawrence Avenue East (Between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10 am. in St. Lawrence Church (Lawrence, East of Birchmount). Interment Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Angelo's family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
