BRUCE, Alan (Charles)
Suddenly on December 29th, 1998 in his 67th year. Devoted dad to daughter Alison and son David and daughter-in-law Lisa Beaton. Loving grandpa to Amelia. Eldest brother of Harry, Andrew and Harvey. Good friend to Carol Robertson and the neighbours of Hamilton Street, Toronto. Respected and admired journalist of 34 years with CBC radio. He will be remembered for his wit, kindness and gentle demeanour. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 9th, 1 p.m. at the main chapel of Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. We'll miss you, Pop.
