FRIEDA BINDMAN
FRIEDA BINDMAN DOUGHERTY Died in bed listening to Beethoven's Ode to Joy on 28 Aug. 09, aged 92. Passed through Spanish Flu, Great Depression, and WWII with grace. Pianist, teacher, linguist, devoted matriarch, and friend to many. Memorial service at Unitarian Church, 30 Cleary Ave. in Westboro, Ottawa, 11 Sept. 09 at 15:00. Donations: Unitarian House, 20 Cleary Ave., Ottawa K2A 3Z9, or Arthritis Society.
