Helen HONEYWELL Obituary



HONEYWELL, Helen Grace (nee Spicer)
died suddenly at age 68 on January 7, 2000, in White Rock, BC. Helen will be sorely missed by her loving husband Rice. Cherished mother of daughter Mari Dai and husband Ed Edwards, as well as sons James, Rice, Keith and Roger, and their wives Caley, Catherine, Marianne and Ann. Loving sister of Keith Spicer, proud aunt of Dag, Genevieve and Nick; sister-in-law to Katie and the late Henri Lesueur; aunt to Grace, Rick and the late Billy. Helen was a graduate of the University of Toronto's faculty of music and spent her life sharing the joy of music with audiences and students in White Rock and Toronto. Helen was a vital part of the National Leadership team of Women Alive. More recently she began a successful career as an actress in TV and film. There will be a memorial service at Victory Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, South Surrey at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 13, 2000. Helen was a Mom to so many and we will all miss her greatly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the African Children's Choir, P.O. Box 3100, Langley, BC V3A 4R3.
