GAULT, Dr. Henry M.D. (1953)
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, May 23, 2003. Dr. Henry Gault head of Clinical Chemistry Queen Mary Vets Montreal from 1960 - 1974, head of Nephrology, QMVH from 1963-1974. Masters of medical research 1966, member of the American and Canadian College of Physicians, head of Nephrology Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal 1970-1974 and Health Sciences Centre St. John's 1974 - 1980, Officer of the Order of Canada 1990, President of the Canadian Association of Nephrology in 1988, Received Atlantic Provinces Laureate Award, Professor Emeritus, Memorial University in 1993. Predeceased by his son Michael Henry, 1962. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Phyllis, son Andrew Frederick, one precious granddaughter Lillian Heather Gault, brother, brother Leslie (Carol) of Calgary, sister Patricia of London, also nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Monday, May 26, 2003 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
