HUTCHINSON, Jack
Peacefully, at Toronto Grace Hospital, on January 12, 2003. Born in Toronto, Ontario on March 19, 1932 to John and Vera Hutchinson. Predeceased by daughter Megan. Survived by first wife Helen Hutchinson of Toronto, Ontario, son Max of Nashville, Tennessee, granddaughter Molly Bell, Brothers, Bill of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Jim of Regina, Saskatchewan. Educated at Notre Dame, Saskatchewan; The University of Manitoba; The University of British Columbia, and The London School of Slavic Studies. Jack played football for the B.C. Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. From 1960 to 1990 Jack had a successful career as a freelance writer and television producer. His warmth and humour will be greatly missed and a celebration of his life is planned for the near future. Jack wished to thank the good people of Dixon Hall, and all his fine friends at the Performing Arts Lodge for their care and support. The family extends their appreciation for the exemplary care that Jack received at the Palliative Care Unit of the Salvation Army, Toronto Grace Hospital.
