MUDGE, Joan (nee Linklater)
Joan Mudge of Carlisle passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on July 26, 2009, at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Drew Mudge. Loving mother of Allison Mudge and David Armitage of Toronto, and Elizabeth and Jason Davies of Waterdown. Dear grandmother of Evan, Jeremy, Hannah, Gray and Vivian. Survived by her parents Alma and Bryce Linklater of Jarvis. Loved sister of Jane and Paul Ruth of Omemee, John and Linda Linklater of Jarvis, Betsy of Simcoe, and Barb and David Ross of Orillia. Sister-in-law of Graham and Charlotte Mudge of Toronto. Aunt Joan of Derek, Adam, Christopher, Megan, Melissa, Sarah, Jessica, Andrew, Cameron and Wesley. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made in Joan's honour to the Salvation Army or the Royal Botanical Gardens.
