It is with deep sadness we announce the passing, on August 6, 2000, in Oakville. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Gordon) and devoted father of (John) David and his wife Michelle, Jill and her husband Ross Tyndall, and Shari and Kevin King. Cherished Papa of John Robert Matthew Renwick and Owen James Tyndall. Loving brother to Gloria and Alan Hawthorne. Will be fondly remembered by Malcolm Cooper and Gérard Bueche, Craig and Lillian Cooper, and many nieces and nephews. John will be remembered by many friends and colleagues for his devotion to his family. We will be together forever. Friends may be received at the Ward Funeral Home (109 Reynolds Street, Oakville), (905) 844-3221, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church (1250 McCraney Street, Oakville), at 2 o'clock p.m. on Thursday, August 10th, 2000. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
