I am sorry to hear of Ron´s passing. I remember him and his family fondly from the late 70s in stouffville. He must have been a busy man back then but he still offered to tutored me in calculus and physics. He was a really great tutor he help me get through hIghschool. Also great neighbours. So sorry for your loss!

Good day, from a guy who was young when I met Ron. I started at Tremco in the early eighties. Many of us here remember Ron well. We are sorry to hear of the loss of a true leader... a good man. He always had a kind word and took time to speak to his people, at all levels. We would talk football of coarse but he new his stuff. Specifically the business aspect. We had a publication that that came out quarterly. Always looked forward to his meaningful words on the back page. He wasn't always around a lot due to the demands of the job. But when he was on campus he made it known he was grateful for our contributions and always gave thanks. Your blessed you had him in your lives. Pic from one of our kids Christmas parties. Advice on how to grip a ball. Even took a pie in the face at the United Way fund raisers. He rocked...

It was with sorrow that I heard of Ron Arends passing. He joined CBN Co around the middle of my 20 years time with them. It was a time of great changes at the company and his positive influence and impact was felt immediately. The present day success of the company owes much to him – I had the greatest respect for his leadership skills. My sincere condolences go to Marilou and the rest of Ron’s family, particularly to his brother, Doug, who has not only lost a brother but must now plan, without his support and partnership, for the future of the company they developed together.
