DOCTOR WILLIAM PERCY FINN M.D., F.R.C.S.(C) October 9, 1935 - December 16, 2020 Beloved husband and best friend of Wendy Murray. Predeceased by wife Carolyn Myers (2006) and brother John (1995). Survived by the mother of his children, Suzanne Beaulieu. Survived by children Deborah (George), Anne Marie (Brian), William, and Louise, and stepdaughters Lisa (Frank) and Julie Murray. Survived by grandchildren Kahle (Jesse) and Joseph, Haydn and Leah, and stepgrandchildren Alexandra (Christopher), Stephanie, Nicole, Paige and Dean. Also great-grandfather to Freya. Former Deputy Chief of Surgery, and Chief of the Department of General Surgery at the Hamilton General Hospital, Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at McMaster University and graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School, 1959. Very special thanks to the devoted doctors, residents, nursing, physio/OT, nutrition, social work and spiritual services staff at the Hamilton General Hospital and St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion. Additional thanks to Bayshore Home Health for their care, flexibility and kindness. Small, private memorial service has been held for immediate family members only. Celebration of life to follow once restrictions have been lifted. 'He was given a talent and used it well.' Bill. Worked in surgical pathology with me in preparation to write his fellowship exams in surgery. We were buddies together during the days he worked at the Hamilton General till I retired in1989.Bill was always my sense of joy and comradeship.We used to talk over the last few years as he related to many of the common friends we had in Hamilton
